What benefits does the new engine portfolio offer?
The new C-Class Saloon is equipped with an advanced M254 Evo 4-cylinder petrol engine with mild hybrid and 48 V on-board electrical system. With an additional overboost function, the engine provides 20 kW (27 hp) of additional power for approximately 30 seconds in the 190 kW output level.
The OM654M EVO 4-cylinder diesel engine equally has a 48 V on-board electrical system, while noise and vibration are also reduced to ensure smooth, impressive performance.
