With 4MATIC all-wheel drive, the differential lock and special off-road drive programs, the new GLS is equally impressive in both easy and difficult terrain. The torque on demand (single-speed) transfer case with fully variable torque distribution to the front and rear axle boosts traction on grass, gravel and easy off-road terrain for enhanced driving safety. In addition, you can call up an animation of the driving situation on the media display to view the gradient or inclination angle, for example.
