Measures to assist MBLT customers affected by COVID-19 Virus

Individual customers and business customers can submit a request to suspend the principal payment of your monthly installments for 3-6 months depending on the type of contract and remaining debts until May 31, 2020. 

Your financial product type
Hire Purchase customers

• Customers can request to suspend the principal payment of their monthly
installments up to 3 months by redistributing the suspended amount over
the remaining installments (the contract terms remain unchanged).

Finance Lease and mySTAR customers
• For customers with outstanding balance not exceeding 3,000,000 baht, customers can request to suspend the principal payment of their monthly installments up to 6 months by redistributing the suspended amount over the remaining installments (the contract terms remain unchanged).
• For customers with outstanding balance exceeding 3,000,000 baht, customers can request to suspend the principal payment of their monthly installments up to 3 months by redistributing the suspended amount over the remaining installments (the contract terms remain unchanged).

Eligibility
Customers shall not have any previous records of delayed payment with Mercedes-Benz Leasing or other financial institutions. We reserve the right to approve or apply additional conditions in the case of any previous records of delayed payment. We reserve the right to reject the application in case of delayed payment more than 90 days with Mercedes-Benz Leasing or other financial institutes.

 

Required documents
• Individual customers to submit a certified copy of their identification card together with our request form to mblt_covid19@daimler.com until May 31, 2020.
• Juristic customers to submit a certified true copy of the company’s affidavit and identification card of an authorized director with our request form to mblt_covid19@daimler.com until May 31, 2020.

For Fleet Customers, please contact your sales representative for COVID-19 relief measures. The above measures is free of administrative fee. The customer shall pay the Duty Stamps in accordance with local laws. We reserve the right to set and change the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.       Customers under this relief measures are considered as normal customers. This means the account will not be treated as delinquent with the NCB. And not affecting the status of applying for loans with other banks or financial institutions in the future. This does not include the status or history of existing customers with the credit bureau before participated in this relief measures.

    • Can customers cancel after entering the relief measures?

      Can customers cancel after entering the relief measures?

      In case of customer has not yet signed the contract, the application can be cancelled. However, if the customer has already signed the contract, the contract cannot be cancelled. But the customer is able to pay the installment payment amount before entering the relief measures, the system will then deduct the advance payment according to the new installment schedule without affecting payment history record.

      Customers are able to pay off the debt ahead of schedule as usual.
