Mr. Michael Grewe, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Limited, began: “Under ‘THE BEST’ philosophy, Mercedes-Benz always delivers only ‘THE BEST’ to customers today and tomorrow. We take pride in expressing our brand values of ‘Fascination’ and ‘Perfection’ through technologically-advanced products with cutting-edge designs tailored to suit every lifestyle of today’s consumers. Sport Utility Vehicles or SUVs are preferred by a large number of car owners and Mercedes-Benz has seen constant growth in this particular segment in recent years. We delivered more than four million units of SUVs worldwide since we introduced the category of premium SUVs back in 2011. At present, Mercedes-Benz offers seven premium SUV models to Thai customers.”
“We are pleased to organize ‘Mercedes-Benz Star Charity #stardrive #suv’ to demonstrate our premium automotive category leadership. For the first time in the history of Mercedes-Benz (Thailand), press members will be given a superb opportunity to test 15 units from our premium SUV portfolio. Aside from the performance test, we will also show our ‘Responsibility’ maxim as press members will be invited to join our social responsibility campaign at Yaowawit School in Pang Nga. Our continuing support for the school has today extended beyond money and donation, expanding to education and other activities that provide valuable life experiences and equip the children with life skills to emerge from poverty and enjoy better opportunities. This time, we wish to initiate an agricultural project, which should benefit schoolchildren and their loved ones as they can gain both new skills and real experience on farming. 100 pepper saplings planted for the aforementioned agricultural project as well as the grant of financial aid to students and school personnel in need are in line with our corporate citizenship commitment to benefitting the society we do business with,” continued Mr. Grewe added.
