Mercedes-Benz Thailand hosted a special ceremony for all seven Country Final winners of “MercedesTrophy 2016” amateur golf tournament. These talented Thai golfers will soon be in Australia to show their golf skills at the Asian Final in which Asian winners will qualify for the World Final in Stuttgart, Germany.
Mr. Frank Steinacher, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Limited, began: “Golf is one of the most popular sports in Thailand. It is an appealing sport and leisure activity for every target group of Mercedes-Benz especially young generations. We are confident that the image of golf is an ideal reflection of our cars which always convey the sense of ‘Passion’ and ‘Perfection’. Since the first MercedesTrophy in Thailand, the tournament has registered more than 9,700 Mercedes-Benz customers across the country.”
“In Thailand, MercedesTrophy is an amateur golf competition held since 1999 to enhance Mercedes-Benz’s relationship with customers who are golf enthusiasts and to offer them an exclusive opportunity to join a world-class tournament. The best Thai golfers will then be a part of the Asian Final in Australia, of which the winners book their berths to the World Final in Stuttgart, Germany,” continued Mr. Frank.
“The best seven at the Country Final can expect to take their golf skills to new heights with professional tips and techniques from Prom Meesawat, a promising Thai pro who is sponsored by Mercedes-Benz Thailand. Additionally, at the Asian Final,the top three MercedesTrophy representatives from Thailand also have their chance in ‘Drive to the Major’ challenge, in which three golfers whose drives finish closest to the marked line on a designated hole will win a trip to watch ‘The Open 2016’ as special guests of Mercedes-Benz—a truly exclusive experience not available from any other golf tournaments,” concluded Mr. Frank.
