Mr. Komkrit Nongsawat, General Manager for Marketing and Communications, Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Limited, added: “Mercedes-Benz regards the driving skill training is an activity offering customers to learn and make the best use of safety systems. Mercedes-Benz Thailand has prepared a wide range of tests and drills, which simulate real situations that drivers may encounter on the road. Participants will spend one full day learning to recognize potentially dangerous situations and how to respond to emergencies as effectively as possible. In addition, they will also be trained to optimize the use of standard safety systems equipped in Mercedes-Benz cars by three professional instructors from Mercedes-Benz in Germany who have extensive experience in conducting driving safety training for Mercedes-Benz around the world. The team is led by Mr. Matthias Kleinmichel, the chief instructor who has over 20 years of experience. The other two instructors are Mrs. Violetta Weykopf, a specialist with more than 25 years of experience, and Mr. Wim Daems, an instructor with over 20 years of experience. They are joined by Mr. Atch Bunyaprasit and Mr. Chaiwat Keongamaroon, the two instructors from Mercedes-Benz Thailand who have been trained and certified as driving safety instructors by Mercedes-Benz in Germany.”
For the training this year, Mercedes-Benz Thailand has prepared over 20 models including C-Class, E-Class, S-Class and Niche Models as well as Vans and commercial vehicles namely C 200 BlueEFFICIENCY, E 200 NGT BlueEFFICIENCY, S 300 Long Wheelbase, SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY Sports AMG Roadster, C 250 BlueEFFICIENCY Coupe Edition 1, Vito, the new Viano, Sprinter and etc.
